I love your website. The name I am interested in is Furche, my name before my marriage. All I know about my great grandfather, August Furche, is that he was born January 6, 1850, near Breslau in a village called Werben. These were then in Prussia, but are now in Poland (as you know). He died August 23, 1913 in Grayson County, Texas. He came to America as a young man and was a stone mason, later a farmer. I know nothing about his parents. He did go back to his home for a visit in 1913, just before he died. Any help you can give would be most appreciated.
